About Us
Richlene Kennels is the oldest boarding facility in Fort Wayne, IN. Our family business started in 1967 with Arlene and Richard Smith. They had a passion for dogs and started Richlene Kennels with showing and breeding miniature schnauzers and having hundreds of champion dogs. The business evolved over the years to include boarding and grooming. Now that they have retired, their daughter Beth and granddaughters Leah and Casey have taken over the business with the intention of keeping it going through more generations.
